About

A recovery practice built for owners who still run the floor.

Cedar Core Recovery Consulting Pty Ltd was established in 2014 to give owner-managed companies a calm, practical place to plan when cash and creditors start competing for attention.

Official name & history

Cedar Core Recovery Consulting Pty Ltd

Registered in Australia and based at 18 Thule Drive, Truro, South Australia, the practice began when founder advisers saw owner-operators drowning in generic “strategy days” while payroll and suppliers went unanswered. From 2014 onward we narrowed the offer to business recovery planning: cash calendars, creditor preparation, and written recovery paths for companies that still trade under their own name.

Early engagements were mostly with Mid North and Adelaide Hills workshops. The practice later widened across South Australia and to remote work with owners elsewhere in Australia who needed the same plain-language discipline.

Advisers who sit with the numbers and the owner

We keep the team small so every engagement has a named senior adviser, not a rotating cast of juniors.

How we work

Short documents. Owner decisions. No jargon theatre.

We ask for bank statements and aged lists early, then spend workshop time on ranking — which costs pause, which customers stay, which creditors hear from you first. The written plan is a working document for the owner, not a binder for a shelf.

We value candour, confidentiality, and respect for the people who still open the doors each morning. Recovery planning succeeds when the owner can explain the next step to a trusted staff member without reading from a script.
